Even though the monsoon has begun in some parts of the state, Agriculture Minister Dattatray Bharane has advised farmers not to rush into sowing.
Replying to a question in the Legislative Assembly, he said farmers should first check soil moisture levels and sow only after confirming adequate moisture. He assured that the Agriculture Department will help farmers deal with uncertainties like El Niño and other weather challenges.
