State Foundation Day Celebration

Celebration of Cultural Heritage and Unity

Raj Bhavan in Jaipur hosted a cultural gathering on Saturday to mark the Foundation Day of eight states and five Union Territories established on 1 November. The event also included observance of the Foundation Day of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, which are marked on 31 October. Residents of these regions currently living in Rajasthan participated in the occasion.

Message from the Governor

Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati extended greetings and conveyed his best wishes to the communities representing these states and Union Territories. He reflected on the historical and cultural backgrounds of these regions, noting that the Foundation Day is a reminder of the country’s vibrant cultural traditions and collective identity. He stated that the unity of various linguistic and cultural groups reflects the essence of One India, Best India.

Interaction with Residents

During the event, the Governor held informal interactions with people from different states. Participants expressed gratitude for the recognition and appreciation shown. The Governor emphasised that each state holds a distinct place in the country’s cultural and geographical landscape. He encouraged the residents to continue contributing to Rajasthan’s growth and social development.
