The Union Public Service Commission is organizing a two-day Shatabdi Sammelan as part of its centenary year celebrations. The event will take place on 26 and 27 November 2025 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Shri Om Birla, Hon’ble Speaker of the Lok Sabha, will attend as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, will participate as the Guest of Honour along with other dignitaries.

The Sammelan will bring together current and former Members and Chairpersons of the UPSC and various State Public Service Commissions, senior government officials, and distinguished individuals from the Government of India. The two-day event will include a conference titled Chintan on 26 November 2025, marking Constitution Day and recognizing the constitutional legacy of public service commissions in the country.

Programme Highlights

The Inaugural Plenary Session will include addresses by several dignitaries. Shri Om Birla will deliver the Keynote Address, Dr. Jitendra Singh will offer the Ministerial Address, and Dr. Ajay Kumar, Hon’ble Chairman of the UPSC, will share his remarks.

The Sammelan is expected to provide a platform for discussion on the role of the UPSC and State Public Service Commissions in nation-building. Participants will engage in conversations on reforms, inclusivity, and the use of technology in public recruitment.
