- ◆ The Well marked low pressure area over southwest Bay of Bengal off Tamil Nadu coast moved nearly northwestwards and lay over the same region at 1130 hrs IST of today, the 22nd October 2025. It is likely to move northwestwards across north Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & south Andhra Pradesh coasts during next 24 hours.
- ◆ Yesterday’s Well marked Low Pressure area over southeast Arabian Sea concentrated into a Depression and lay centered at 0830 hrs IST of today, 22nd October 2025, over the same region near latitude 8.9°N,67.4°E, about 630 km west-southwest of Aminidivi (Lakshadweep) and 1010 km southwest of Panjim (Goa). It remained practically stationary during past 3 hours and lay centered at 1130 hrs IST of today, 22nd October 2025, over the same region, near latitude 8.9°N & longitude 67.4°E, about 630 km west-southwest of Aminidivi (Lakshadweep) and 1010 km southwest of Panjim (Goa). It is likely to move slowly nearly north-northwestwards during next 24 hours.
- ◆ An upper air cyclonic circulation lay over south Andaman Sea & neighbourhood in middle tropospheric level.
- ◆ A Western Disturbance as a trough in middle and upper tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level now runs roughly along Long. 72°E to the north of Lat. 28°N.
- ◆ A fresh and feeble Western Disturbance likely to impact Western Himalayan Region from 27th October, 2025.

Weather forecast over Delhi/NCR during 22nd to 25th October 2025
Past Weather:
There has been fall in the minimum temperature up to 1°C and fall in maximum temperature up to 1°C over Delhi/NCR during the past 24 hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures over Delhi were around 31 to 33°C and 19 to 21°C respectively. The minimum temperature was above normal up to 1 – 3°C and maximum temperature was below normal up to 1 – 3°C. Shallow fog was reported at Palam airport. Palam airport recorded the lowest visibility 800 m at 0800 hours on 22.10.2025 which thereafter improved becoming 1000 m at 0830 hours IST. Partly cloudy sky conditions with predominant surface wind from the southeast direction with wind speeds up to 08 kmph prevailed during the past 24 hours. Mainly clear sky conditions with haze/mist associated with calm wind as gradually increase becoming up to 10 kmph from the northwest direction prevailed over the region in the forenoon today.

- Keep the animals inside the shed during heavy rainfall and provide them balanced feed.
- Store feed and fodder in a safe place to prevent spoilage.
- Construct an outlet with proper netting around the ponds to drain out excess water, thereby preventing fish from escaping in case of overflow.
