WHEREAS, the Election Commission of India by its Notification No. 464/ES-I/BR-LA/2025, dated 10th October, 2025 issued under Section 30 read with Section 56 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951) for first Phase had fixed Hours of Poll from 7.00 AM to 5.00 PM for the polls to be taken on 6th November, 2025 (Thursday) in 131-Kalyanpur (SC), 132-Warisnagar, 133-Samastipur, 134-Ujiarpur, 135-Morwa, 136-Sarairanjan, 137-Mohiuddinnagar, 138-Bibhutipur, 139-Rosera (SC), and 140-Hasanpur Assembly Constituencies in the State of Bihar.
Reason for Amendment
WHEREAS, after considering the reports of Chief Electoral Officer, Bihar and taking into account all other material circumstances including the Law and Order scenario, the Election Commission of India has decided to change the hours of poll in aforesaid Assembly Constituencies in the State of Bihar, and

NOW, THEREFORE, in the exercise of powers conferred by Section 56 of the Representation of People Act, 1951 read with Section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (10 of 1897), the Election Commission of India makes the following amendment in its notification No. 464/ES-I/BR-LA/2025, dated 10th October, 2025 referred to above, namely:-
In the Table of the said Notification, in place of the existing entry in Column (2), against the Assembly Constituency, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
