JENESYS ASEAN-Japan Sports (Football) x SDGs Exchange Program

Program Overview

From October 28 to November 4, 2025, around 80 high school students from ASEAN countries passionate about football will participate in the JENESYS ASEAN-Japan Sports (Football) x SDGs Exchange Program. The group will visit Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, to engage in sports-related and sustainability-focused activities.

Activities in Tokyo

In Tokyo, the delegation will visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan for a courtesy call. They will also explore the Sustainable Station initiative at the National Stadium, which promotes food drives and small appliance recycling, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Activities in Osaka

In Osaka, with support from GAMBA OSAKA Co., Ltd., participants will experience inclusive sports like walking football and Bô Soccer (Stick Soccer). These activities are designed to be accessible to people of all ages, genders, and athletic backgrounds, fostering inclusivity through sports.

Program Objectives

The exchange program aims to deepen participants’ understanding of ASEAN-Japan relations and the role of sports in advancing SDGs. It encourages friendship among the youth, promotes cultural exchange, and inspires participants to share their experiences and the appeal of various football styles in Japan through social media and other platforms.
