In a continued effort to ensure safety in Yemen, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Masam Project successfully cleared 1,190 explosives across various regions during the third week of October 2025. This operation marks a significant step in protecting Yemeni civilians from the dangers posed by explosive remnants.
Breakdown of Cleared Explosives
The Masam Project team neutralized a range of hazardous materials, including:
- 1,135 pieces of unexploded ordnance
- 49 anti-tank mines
- 5 anti-personnel mines
- 2 improvised explosive devices
These efforts contribute to a cumulative total of 519,824 explosives removed since the project’s inception, significantly reducing risks in affected areas.
