Azbat Brida Products, led by Noura Khalifa Al-Jabri, displayed over 150 locally produced items, including various eggs and butter. Bu Theeb Nursery & Fruits Farm, managed by Salah Sayed, presented premium varieties of dates and fruits, including Medjool, Ikhlas, figs, and mangoes. Sayed highlighted their goal of gaining knowledge and marketing their products, having earned three awards from the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Award.

Mona Al-Mansoori’s project, By Gezelle, offered innovative date products blended with nuts like pistachios, walnuts, and almonds. Her participation focused on promotion, marketing, and networking with business owners to expand her brand’s reach.

Empowering Women and Home-Based Ventures

Maryam Khalifa AlZaabi introduced her home-based perfume and incense project, supported by the Women’s Union and utilizing raw materials from countries like India. She emphasized leveraging social media and events like Global Food Week to promote her products, expressing optimism about future growth.

Advancements in Agricultural Technology

AlFafa Agricultural LLC, managed by Naser AlZaabi, showcased a strawberry farm utilizing artificial intelligence to achieve a production capacity exceeding 1,200 tonnes per month, with ambitions to reach 5,000 tonnes annually. AlZaabi highlighted the economic benefits of local agriculture as an alternative to imports, reducing associated risks.

Government Support and Food Security

Participants consistently praised the UAE leadership’s support, particularly in empowering women and fostering platforms like Global Food Week. These initiatives encourage SMEs to innovate, expand, and contribute to the nation’s food self-sufficiency goals.
