President Droupadi Murmu’s Visit to Kerala

Sabarimala Temple Darshan

President Droupadi Murmu offered prayers at the Sabarimala temple in Kerala today. She carried the traditional “Irumudi” offering and ascended the sacred 18 steps to perform the darshan. The visit was conducted with stringent security arrangements. After completing the darshan, the President returned by noon. Tomorrow, President Murmu will pay respects to former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam at Raj Bhavan. Later, she will attend the centenary celebrations at St. Teresa’s College in Ernakulam as the chief guest before returning to Delhi.
