Nagaland Skill Development Mission: Free Training Program in Peren

The Nagaland Skill and Entrepreneurship Development Mission (NSEDM), under the Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN), is set to launch a one-month free skill development training program in Peren, Nagaland, tentatively scheduled for November 2025. This initiative focuses on equipping young individuals with practical, employable skills in masonry and tiling as well as electrification and plumbing.

Program Objectives

According to a circular issued by Fiirhesie Nyuwi, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Tening, the training program is designed to:

  • Provide employable skills to the youth of Nagaland.
  • Promote entrepreneurship among the younger generation.
  • Support economic growth by fostering skilled professionals in high-demand trades.

Registration and Participation

The NSEDM encourages all interested youths and students to register early to secure their spots in this transformative program. Village Council Chairmen in Tening and Nsong have been directed to ensure widespread publicity within their respective villages to maximize participation.
